Summer sporting fun has begun at Templars Square
Summer’s here and we’ve kicked off our series of summer sports events, with little shoppers getting involved in classic sports-day games and Olympic-themed arts activities!
From mini archery and athletics to dance and gymnastics, children can come down to Templars Square on selected dates in August to take part in free sports-themed activities. Plus, there are design-your-own-flag and medal colouring stations.
Paul Jackson, Centre Manager, says: “With the Olympics now underway, we wanted to bring the excitement of sports to Cowley. We know how hard it can be to find things to do over the summer holidays, so we’re hosting our own free games workshops.
“There’s lots for children to enjoy over the next few weeks. Come and try out sports and games at our Thursday workshops and take part in our trail around the centre where one lucky winner will win £100 shopping vouchers.”
Templars Square ‘Summer Sports Spectacular’ events take place on 8th, 15th and 22nd August. The sports trail runs until 31st August.
