Spooky fun for all the family this Halloween

Meet The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child – Saturday 25th October

Families are invited to meet The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child as they make special appearances throughout the day. The much-loved characters will be available for a meet-and-greet along with photos at intervals between 11am and 3pm, offering the perfect opportunity for fans of the classic children’s tale to capture a memorable moment.

Pumpkin Trail – 25th October to 2nd November

Running across the centre, families can take part in a free pumpkin trail for the chance to win £25 in centre vouchers. Children can explore the centre, follow the clues, and submit their completed trail entries to the post box for a chance to win the prize. Pick up a trail sheet from the Halloween event gazebo.

Spooky Storytime & Crafts – Tuesday 28th October

From 10am to 3pm, little ones can enjoy a magical mix of storytelling and crafting. Perfect for a half-term day out, this drop-in session offers a creative and engaging way to spend the day.

Storytime sessions at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm with free Halloween book giveaways (while stocks last).

Free Face Painting: Friday 31st October

To finish off those frightful costumes, there will be free face painting on Halloween between 11am and 3pm. Decide if you’d like to be a wicked witch or a mini monster, it’s a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit.

All events are completely free of charge, with no booking required. Families are encouraged to come along, take part, and enjoy a hauntingly good time at Templars Square this Halloween.
