Festive fun for all the family this Christmas
Mark your calendars! Templars Square is hosting lots of festive fun this November and December!
Join us across the coming weeks as we host family-friendly events in the centre. Here’s what’s planned:
Candy cane lane – Saturday 22nd November (11am-3pm)
Step into the season with our Candy Cane Stilt Walkers, who will be gliding through the centre, spreading festive cheer. Families can enjoy moments throughout the day, with the performers handing out tasty candy canes to make your visit that little bit more magical.
The Grinch meet & greet – Saturday 29th November (11am-3pm)
The Grinch is making his mischievous return to Templars Square. Known for his grumpy charm and festive mayhem, he’ll be appearing at intervals between 11am and 3pm for photos and playful encounters. Will you be the one to bring out his Christmas spirit… or will he try to steal yours?
Kids’ festive workshop – Saturday 6th December (11am-3pm)
Little ones can get hands on at Father Christmas’s Sustainability Workshop. Running from 11am to 3pm, this drop-in session helps children discover fun ways to reduce Rudolph’s carbon footprint through creative, eco-friendly activities. A perfect way to learn and play during the festive season.
Meet Father Christmas – Saturday 6th December (11am-3pm)
No Christmas celebration is complete without a visit to Father Christmas. Children are invited to share their wish lists and enjoy a magical moment with the big man himself. Those who have been especially good may even receive an early festive surprise.
Frozen sing-a-long – Saturday 13th December (11am-3pm)
Step into the world of Arendelle as Anna and Elsa bring their Frozen magic to Templars Square. Enjoy enchanting singalong performances throughout the day, then meet the beloved princesses in person and capture a truly memorable photo.
All events are completely free of charge, with no booking required. We look forward to welcoming you for a fantastic festive season!
Charity gift wrapping station – Sunday 14th December (11am-3pm)
Lighten your festive to-do list while supporting a truly worthy cause. Our dedicated volunteers will be on hand to beautifully wrap your Christmas presents with care, in exchange for a small donation. All proceeds will go directly to our local charity partner, Scope, helping to fund their vital work creating an equal future for disabled people.
Free personalised bauble – Saturday 20th December (11am-3pm)
Add a truly personal and lasting touch to your Christmas celebrations this year. Shoppers are invited to receive a beautiful, complimentary personalised ceramic bauble to add to their tree or give as a unique gift.
Simply spend £20 at Templars Square on Saturday 20th December, for this special festive keepsake. It is the perfect way to turn your Christmas shopping trip into a magical memory.
Festive face painting – Tuesday 23rd December (11am-3pm)
Bring the family and let your little ones transform into a festive character. Children are invited to enjoy complimentary face painting and choose from a wonderful selection of festive designs, including reindeer, snowflakes, and jolly elves. A magical moment to capture during your Christmas shopping trip.
