Donate unwanted Christmas gifts to charity.
Now that January is here, many of us are left with gifts that may not be the right fit or that won’t be used. Instead of letting them go unused, why not start the New Year on a positive note by donating them to one of the local charity shops at Templars Square. Your unwanted items can be given a meaningful second life while helping to support the vital community causes across Oxford.

Please drop off your unwanted items to these local charities, ensuring you check individual opening times and accepted donations before you visit:
- Sue Ryder – Accepts clothing, children’s toys, books, films, and all donations help support people in palliative care
- Small Steps – Accepts children’s clothing, baby clothes, toys, pushchair accessories, feeding and bathing items in good condition. Donations help support babies and young children with physical disabilities and their families.
- Mercy in Action – Accepts good quality clothing, shoes, accessories, books, vinyl’s, musical instruments, homeware, toys, games, arts, and crafts. They aim to tackle poverty through feeding, care, housing, and education.
- Shaw Trust – Accepted clothing, accessories, toys, books, and small household objects. They support people into employment and training.
- Hope Oxford – Accepts clothing, shoes, accessories, toys, small household items to support community outreach
- Jungle – Accepts children’s toys, games, and books, they support by building communities, friendships and fostering creativity which sessions in the centre such as story times, time for tea, art gym, women’s support initiative.
- Ark-T – Accepts donated toys and children’s activities to support mental health through creativity.
