A Magical Christmas Season at Templars Square!
Templars Square was filled with festive cheer throughout November and December, as families from across the community came together to enjoy a packed programme of free Christmas events.
The celebrations began with the arrival of the candy cane stilt walkers, that delighted shoppers as they glided through the mall, spreading seasonal joy and handing out sweet treats. The excitement continued the following week with a visit from The Grinch, whose playful mischief and photo opportunities proved a firm favourite with visitors of all ages.
Little shoppers unleashed their creativity at the Pinecone Sustainability Workshop, where children decorated pinecones and other crafts using sustainable resources. The same day, they also saw Father Christmas, where they could meet the big man himself and were given an early Christmas gift.
Music and magic filled the centre during the Frozen sing-along, as Anna and Elsa brought the world of Arendelle to life with enchanting performances and meet-and-greet opportunities. Shoppers were also able to support a good cause at the charity gift wrapping station, with volunteers raising valuable funds for local charity partner, Scope.
As Christmas drew closer, visitors enjoyed a range of thoughtful and interactive experiences, including the opportunity to receive a free personalised ceramic bauble, festive face painting for children, and plenty of opportunities to capture special seasonal memories while shopping.
These festive events created a warm and welcoming atmosphere at Templars Square, bringing smiles to families and reinforcing the centre’s commitment to hosting inclusive, community-focused events that add something extra to every visit.
