Our donation helps The Jungle’s hygiene bank
Templars Square has donated £1,000 to The Jungle, a charity and community organisation based in the shopping centre, to support its Hygiene Bank programme.
Thanks to this generous donation, The Jungle’s Hygiene Bank, affectionately referred to as ‘Jungle Boxes’, will be fully funded until the end of 2025.
The initiative currently supports more than 20 families each month, providing essential items such as toiletries, nappies and household cleaning products. Since launching in 2023 the programme has distributed over 250 boxes to families in need.
Centre Manager at Templars Square said: “We’re proud to support The Jungle and the work they do for our community every day.
“The Jungle Boxes provide practical, meaningful help to local families and we’re pleased this donation will keep the service running throughout 2025.”
Phil Chapman, Team Leader at The Jungle adds: “One of the biggest challenges facing our community is financial instability and that’s why we offer services like our Jungle Boxes.
“Through a referral system, local families receive a set list of essential products each month.
“This wonderful donation from Templars Square means our Hygiene Bank is funded until the end of 2025, something we know will make a real difference to the families we support.”
