The Jungle Boxes initiative provides essential hygiene items, such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste and other toiletries, to families who would otherwise go without. The donation from Templars Square will help The Jungle continue its mission of supporting those in need within the local community.

 

Each Jungle Box costs £25 and supplies a family with a month’s worth of toiletries. The £1,000 donation will directly help 40 families, ensuring they have access to these essential products.

 

Suzanne Tanner, Marketing & Admin Co-ordinator at Templars Square Shopping Centre said: “We are proud to support The Jungle and their incredible work in the community. The Jungle Boxes programme is a lifeline for many families, and we are delighted that our contribution will make a meaningful difference.”

 

The Jungle’s team expressed their gratitude, saying: “Thank you so much for this generous donation – it truly means a lot to us. This funding will go directly towards our Jungle Boxes, which we distribute each month to families in need. Each box costs around £20-£25, and we currently support 20 families, with another 10 on our waiting list. This donation will make a real difference in helping us reach more families who need these essential supplies.”
